Tranquility

One of my oldest projects I still work on (other than Hidden Knives)... also one of the most complete plotwise.

Mark Schwartz is finaly out of his parent's control and holed up in a deteriorating dormitory. He's sick of school, sick of life, and sick of himself. No one ever told him livng by himself would be so grueling. In usual Schwartz style, he abandons class one day and takes a bus to who-knows-where. After a few days of aimlessly traveling, he winds up in a small Nebraskan town. Ah, the perfect place to die alone on the side of a street...

But than a brand-new, neon orange FOR SALE BY OWNER sign cuts straight into Mark's subconscious. The rest is history. Or, it should be. After the purchase of an ultra-cheap, 100 acre former cattle ranch, Mark is feeling better about abondoning his future.
